Merely Of Interest

Found this on a news site describing the television and movie ratings for Canada. As an avid movie fan I found this both of interest and shock. Read them and be amazed at what some ratings get away with, even the so-called family ratings. This is a long post but worth a look.

Canadian TV Classification System:These ratings are used so parents can activate the V-Chip on modern televisions and control what they want their children to see. The ratings appear in the top left-hand corner of the screen at the beginning of every show, with the exception of exempt programming such as news.
