So, here is my problem. I watched the People's Choice awards the other night and really it was nothing special, however Johnny Depp got the Best Male Actor award. Now I thought this great, as he rarely gets recognition for anything really, and loved his quirky speech mainly because it showcased his unusual sense of humour.
The next day reports were saying people were disappointed by it and others scared for his health. Oh come on! The one thing they take from the evening as odd was Depp and he was obviously on set, tired and trying to fit this in for his fans( give credit where it is due).
Now, here is my problem and why I even mention this; Mel Gibson received an award for his movie about Christ, ironically the one person he forgot to mention in thanks, or at all, was CHRIST! Seems strange in an age where rappers, who sing about many unfortunate idiocies, can stand up at an award show and thank God, however the man who gets an award, and made far more money than humanly should be possible for it, for making a movie about Christ can only thank the people who lined his pockets!
Well, there it is my first rambling.
