With Great Disinterest

The evening passed more slowly than usual, as my eyes viewed stars without twinkle.

Yes the Golden Globes were on last evening and they surpassed their own boredom from years gone by. I know you may be saying it could not be possible, but alas it came to pass as such. The truth is simple with every panning shot of any given camera, each and every person there looked as you would at a funeral! Yes that is correct you could see all the familiar signs of a death, people with blank looks on their faces and looking down at their tables as if it holds the answer to their escape; don't get me wrong for some it did, people such as William Shatner and Robert Redford truly looked no better than a Nick Nolte mugshot. It was so bad that even Robin Williams, who seems able to make the best of any situation, drained his wine glass before getting on stage!

I saw people of mild respect turn stupid and un-interesting before my eyes and the whole thing was further destroyed by the drunken stumbles and incoherent direction of every camera operator!!!! They shot the back of peoples heads, side views and at one point panned across the butts of three people walking up the aisle! All of this with the same flare as the camera system in Saving Private Ryan! That is not to demean any battle, for this was such. By the end you felt you truly deserved a medal for plodding through and you were definitely scarred and shell-shocked by what you had witnessed (Leo over Neeson or Depp? And Aviator Best Pic?)!

Well, ranting and ramblings now aside, I shall end this the only way I know how and that is with a period.
