As a child my eyes searched the sky
Adolescence kept my eyes upon the ground
Adulthood allows my eyes to take everything in,
yet I long to see as a child again
The world always wore a smile for me
People seemed as flowers
Tomorrow was of little consequence,
after all it is TODAY!!!
Bitter winds never blew,
clouds would part in my view
Certain of everything, knowing so little
My heart beat back then
To be the child, destroyed by adolescents, that made this man
