vivid pallor

I danced the daylight away with winged angels
Until moonlit devils accompanied my side
The broad stroked pale that stared me down
Eclipsed my silk framed heart

Lavender scents accompanied my dreamscape
Although my eyes opened true
The dance I danced upon angels’ wings
Revelled in the darkness anew

The sash thrown open
The madness drawn
Unkindest flavour
Chewed up and spewed

The palest soul amongst my flesh
The dancer crippled in spectres wake
Untangled weave of webs design
Opened eye of sight blessed blind

The hour resounds, thumping drum of inner ear
I fall and weep for gracious year

The winters cleansing snow
Metaphorically shimmers beneath my feet
My black soles covered in purest white
My once dark heart now unconcealed light

Sorrows of many once caused by one

This day rings hope
God bless us everyone
