The moments within your eyes rest gentle tears upon my soul
A saddened life of consequence and unrest
The disrepair of millennia unresolved
My kindest wishes shoot across the scattered starlit skies
A docile dream of atrocities unfurled
Be gentle now my still-life frailty
I go not gently into this darkest…
Arrogance holds my hand steady
The tides of certainty ebb as always in my favour
Touch me now…if you can
My formless soul as light enhanced
A gentle tear of eyes entranced
Distanced gained upon romance
My nevermore has arrived outside my door.
Justice always rules itself against me
As always you should be
Though not now
Perhaps not ever
Destroy the fragile aspects within me
Bone as glass now lays in ruin
Leave me be upon this plane
The nether realm calls
My deafness hears
Touch my sleeve and remember
I too
once was.
