Perhaps a dance across the pond
To and fro we shall abscond
Upon the sun slick winter’s day
In light or dark as shelters sway
A clasp of hands within as one
Gasping breaths in enamored fun
The gentle kiss as flaked snow flies
Twinkling stars in sunlit eyes
Cathedral bells with windswept sound
Still swell the hearts of mortal bound
Perhaps a dance across the pond
As flaked snow flies
A gentle kiss
