At World's End

So here it is, my few cents upon the topic of the third Pirates movie At World’s End!

I have to admit that after seeing the second installment of this trilogy I was very skeptical about the third being very good at all, I found the second far too dark and lacking the fun of the first. Yes, if it were not for the fact that some things are connected to the third (luckily one of which is Davey Jones) I would forgo the second entirely.



Thank the heavens that they got this one right!!!

Yes folks this one is more in line with the original and it is a welcome return to form. The action is awesome with some brilliant scenes, the comedy brought by Jack is great, and close to the end of the film I found myself marveling at the visual poetry of one small scene (although when we are first introduced to Jack again I am sure many women would argue that it is poetry as well…and may be the answer to the prayers of women who say you can never have too much Depp). This movie better bring in more cash than the first sequel because this one truly deserves the high cash grab!

I highly recommend this flick, while you can never see Pirates again for the first time it is truly great and ties things up nicely (of course leaving things open for sequels). Don’t miss this one in the theatre…savvy?
