spilt

Elaborate simplicity dances around the rim of my teacup
The moisture of a thousand tears steeping
An existential cacophony of random anomaly
Velvet razorblades accost the frog within my throat
Distilled thoughts splash across contaminated parchment
Relaying the vacant-eyed homeless truths
And spectacular failures that the world applauds
Bless me for I have signed
Written from vein and taken in vanity
This destined density renders a cartoon
Both vivid and bland within this black and white
Tearstained rhapsody of bloodless vessels
They have burned down the trees to better see the forest
Tread softly…tread softly,
The simplistic movement sets my teacup to dance
