Misrepresented Value

I usually am pretty easy going about most things, but this caught my attention.

On television, over the past few months, different Canadian coins have been put in to circulation to show great Canadians and their efforts. This sounded great, they began with a 25 cent piece for Remembrance Day, it had a poppy in the center, pretty interesting idea. Then, they brought out a 1 dollar coin with Terry Fox on it, this had me curious, sure he did something good, but really why should he get a dollar when Remembrance Day gets a mere 25 cents?

Well, just moments ago the latest advert had the most questionable yet. A coin to honour Veterans Day, great idea, however go ahead and guess what coin Veterans get.......give up? A NICKEL, FIVE LOUSY CENTS! What idiot is in charge of this?! How does a guy like Terry Fox trump Veterans?!!!! And Remembrance Day?!!!!

This is insulting to the very people they meant to "honour" and to us as Canadians, we have greater values than this! Anyway, that is a my semi-rant of the day.
