So, I had an interesting idea, yet it may not have worked as well as I had intended. Perhaps this is not so much finished, yet for now it will do. Hopefully the main idea is not lost and my efforts relay the intended. Here it is:
He had a face made for war and although a peacekeeper’s heart beat within him, his reflection dictated the way he lived and how those interacted with him.
How many mirrors must be shattered to allow a reflection to be seen?
A dancer was inside of her, despite her lack of limbs that would obey her will, and for as long as she could form tears she knew more was destined to come into and from her life.
How many of us dance within ourselves to find the joy that our world mocks?
His heart longed to speak the elaborate soliloquies that he formed within the oak-framed chambers of his minds amphitheatre, yet he feels forever imprisoned by his lack of voice and the perceptions of a society that utilizes their own for a far more vile purpose with every opportunity available.
How many sorrows does today hold for the dreamers of tomorrow?
How many voices must be silenced to hear our own?
This day is a chance for renewal of all things precious; let us not tear down the victorious to appease our own failures.
Now is the time to get down from the cross and instead take it up, your sword and shield have been provided, so choose.
Have we stood upon the head of the enemy or have we allowed the enemy our head?
Give voice to your heart’s truth, dance outside of the confines of societal eyes without fear, and let your face shine within the reflection of the image in which it has been made!
Today…today is that day when we touch the face of God while wiping the tears from the lesser helped.
Today, it is the day when we sit with the Lord as we feed those that have none.
TODAY!
Not tomorrow.
Let us arise this morning and find our destined realities to not be a futile breath, yet a refreshing inhalation.
Today, we shall hold the hearts of the dreamers of tomorrow and the dreamers shall awaken; as shall all hope that waits within those blessed with more than a dream.
One day soon we shall experience the greatest joy, it is then that we shall all exhale.
