This movie feels like a visceral modern poem put into motion with breathtaking brush stroked brilliance!
I can not praise this film enough, although I am sure it is not for everyone.
This movie is everything I wanted Gladiator to be, yet that is perhaps unfair as these are not even in the same category of movie style.
Gladiator is a drama with small action parts. 300 is action with bits of drama. I could not be paid to watch Gladiator again, far too boring on repeated viewings, twice was enough. 300 however is never something that can become boring. At least not to me.
Get to the theatre NOW!!! This is not a rental flick!

I keep trying to see this film, but events continue to conspire against me. Everytime I schedule a night at the cinema to view this flick, something urgent comes up and I don't get to go. Honestly!!
Hoping to get to go this weekend . . . if it hasn't already left the area by then.
By the way, really like your blog . . . been reading it on a regular basis. LOVE the tiger and the quotations by Lewis and Browning.
Oh cool...a comment!!!
It gets so lonely here sometimes...no really it does. :)
I've been wanting to see 300, too. You'd think Elizabeth and I would be able to connect and go see it, huh?
It is my goal to achieve the viewing of this movie! Yes, yes it is.
