viewpoint

From grand rocks, across great canyons, I once leapt
The limbs of spectacular trees were my trapeze
Wondrously tall grass, spread across vast landscapes, hid me from my prey
Yet now the vantage has become altered
The grand has been made miniscule
The spectacular is now a speck
While the grass I once looked down upon, now awaits becoming my roof
Alas, the aging mortal now longs for the invincibility of youth
