whether rainbow

Words carelessly discarded upon the street as common pennies
By Coppersmith tongues long since eroded by acidic love
Corrosive comments burn passed flesh and scar the heart

Rain, it left shattered sheets of oceanic debris across the scene

Volatile forms blasted apart by emotionless arrogance
Metal slams solid as rubber slides high pitched
Staccato stiletto echoes bounce beyond brick

The atmosphere devours the attempts of the sun

The apartment windows blink, as the telephone wires dance
She finds herself lost within a forest of thought,
He finds himself outside her door, moisture upon his face

How did this elegantly brush stroked life become so saturated in deep hues.

She fumbles for her keys, as he glances from her stairs
Their eyes become vocal and they enter inside the brick structure
The door closes behind them as a wall stabilizes between them

Will this storm find its rainbow?
