I have witnessed the light within her eyes
Its silhouette dances even as she cries
The dreamscapes windswept lullabies
Belie the realities of realms gone by
The light that shone out from deep within
A gentle caress of softer skin
The scents of blossoms bloomed in heart
Be gone vile sunset that rips apart
These hands they held, these hands they hold
Such hope as ne’er a man could imagine
Now gone these things and manmade rings
She is gone although the beating still drums
Bless now this man whose sunset dawns
I laugh at tears, now manmade ponds
Hands of heaven now hold my love
Bless this branch without its dove
Alas, the calm before the storm
My memorized reunion shall soon be worn
Upon this bed my eyes first became clear
And now my love, very soon, we again shall be near
